Terms of use
- UnGrid provides general preparedness information. It is not professional emergency, medical, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety.
- Content is provided “as is”. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee completeness or suitability for your situation.
- You agree not to misuse the site (for example attempting to break security, scrape in violation of our policies, or harass others).
- We may change or discontinue parts of the service; where material changes affect paid access, we will describe them reasonably (for example via this page or email).
Terms of sale (goods and digital content)
- Contract: When you place an order accepted by us (or our commerce partner), a contract is formed under these terms and any checkout terms shown at purchase.
- Physical goods: Fulfilled via our commerce partner (Shopify checkout and integrated suppliers). Delivery times, carriers, and import duties follow what is stated at checkout and in order communications. Risk and title pass according to applicable law and carrier terms.
- Digital content (PDFs): After successful payment (including via Mollie where applicable), we make the download or access available as described on the product or guide page. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for private, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Hardware-linked unlocks: Some PDFs unlock only after an eligible purchase, as described on the guide. We verify using information you provide (for example email and order number).
- Prices and taxes: Prices are shown as stated at checkout (including VAT where applicable). If taxes or duties are calculated at checkout, they form part of the price you pay unless stated otherwise.
- Right of withdrawal — digital content (EU consumers): You may lose the 14-day withdrawal right if you agree to immediate supply before the period ends — we will present any required consent at checkout where applicable.
- Right of withdrawal — physical goods (EU consumers): If you qualify as a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from the day on which you (or a third party you indicate, other than the carrier) acquire physical possession of the goods to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement before the withdrawal period expires — for example by email to hello@ungrid.store with your order number. You may use the model withdrawal form published by the European Commission, but it is not obligatory. If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of any supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. Unless the goods are not in conformity with the contract, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For defective or non-conforming goods, see “Legal guarantee and defects” below.
- Legal guarantee of conformity (physical goods): If you are a consumer, Portuguese law grants a legal guarantee of conformity for goods. For goods delivered on or after 1 January 2022, the period is generally three years from delivery, subject to applicable law and any transitional rules. During the first year, any lack of conformity is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless proved otherwise. Your remedies (repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the contract) follow the rules in force in your country of residence where you qualify as a consumer.
- Defects, non-delivery, and refunds: If goods are defective, not as described, or have not arrived within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery window, contact us at hello@ungrid.store with your order details. We will work with our fulfilment and payment partners (including Shopify and suppliers) to repair, replace, refund, or otherwise remedy the situation in line with mandatory consumer law. If you believe you were charged twice in error, contact us at the same address with transaction details; we will investigate and correct where appropriate. Digital purchases via Mollie are subject to Mollie's terms as well as these terms.
Payments
Card and other payments for certain digital products may be processed by Mollie. Shopify checkout handles payments for shop orders. Their terms and privacy notices also apply.
Liability
General content on UnGrid is for information only and is not professional emergency, medical, legal, or financial advice. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection rules in your country. Subject to the foregoing, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from products ordered through third-party checkout, except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. For disputes, the courts of Porto have jurisdiction where permitted by law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence if you qualify as a consumer elsewhere in the EEA or UK.
